Who I am:

I'm Derek Rottman - an ambi-brained individual. I am one, a very logical person. I can see reason in decisions and understand and value the importance of well-thought-through plans. On the other hand (or brain), I would much rather draw for you or act out a visual sequence or scene than type you a script. I love editing and planning creative shots. Post-production is my passion, but I really enjoy the brainstorming and idea fashioning process. I am proud of the work that I've done and am excited to push myself further in the digital media world. More personally, I do more than video stuff. I like staying active. I like to design landscapes for homes. I hate running, but I love finishing a run. I love golfing and playing hockey and watching both sports on TV. The Sunday crossword is my Everest. I can basically find enjoyment in about anything...except being late. If there's one thing I can't stand, it's being late.
